What to expect when you come to Confession at St. Luke
Saturday Confessions:
When it is your turn, you can enter the Confessional when the red light above the door turns off. You then have the choice to go and sit face-to-face with our priest, or make your Confession kneeling behind a screen.
The Confessional is located just inside the main doors to the Sanctuary in a small seating section to the right. There are several pews in this section, and all are available for use while waiting in line. The line flows generally from the front to the back, left to right. Most Saturdays, an Usher is available for directing you to the end of the line when you arrive.
When you exit, you can use any other section of the Sanctuary to take a moment to fulfill your penance until the 5:30 PM Mass begins.
Thursday Confessions:
Confessions take place after Mass during our Holy Hour of Adoration. Upon the completion of your Confession and receiving absolution, you may exit the Confessional and continue the renewed relationship you've just begun in the Sanctuary until Adoration concludes.
