It is in Baptism, one of the three Sacraments of Initiation in the Catholic Church, that one is welcomed into the Catholic community of faith.
We at St. Luke would be honored to share the joy of this Sacrament with you and your family. The Sacrament of Baptism is available for all children up to 6 years of age. Older children and adults can ask about our RCIA program. Registration forms can be found on the tabs below.
Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children. They
bear witness to this responsibility first by creating a home where tenderness,
forgiveness, respect, fidelity, and disinterested service are the rule.
-CCC #2223
For the grace of Baptism to unfold, the parents' help is important. So too is the role of the godfather and godmother, who must be firm believers, able and ready to help the newly baptized - child or adult on the road of Christian life. Their task is a truly ecclesial function (officium). The whole ecclesial community bears some responsibility for the development and safeguarding of the grace given at Baptism. -CCC #1255
